  2. Imagine That is a book I've considered getting since Dr. Seuss's birthday is coming up. I love picture book biographies, too. Emmanuel's Dream is inspiring.

    1. Perfect book to read for his birthday. I have been waiting to read Emmanuel's Dream for a while. My library only recently got a copy.

  3. I've had A Wrinkle In Time reserved at our public library FOREVER and they finally told me last week that it's been lost. I have an old tiny paperback copy of it, but I'd rather read from the bigger hardback. Must be getting old. :) And I HAVE to get my hands on Imagine That. We always do a fun Dr. Seuss birthday celebration and it looks like this would be great. Thanks for sharing!

    2. Just last evening they called to tell me they purchased a new copy and it was ready for pick up. Yeehaw! They also had three other books that came in for me, so I definitely have my work cut out for me this week. :)

  4. Isn't it fun that there is going to be a movie of A Wrinkle In Time? Terrific that you are re-reading it. Thanks also for SeeSaw, an older one by Linda Sue Park and I love her books.

  8. What a fabulous list of books you have read. We had a lit circle set of Wrinkle in Time that I read often when I was involved with students reading it. While the books fell apart and needed replacing, the story itself never grew old.
One last Word is on my list.
I enjoyed reading about the five biographies. I agree with Earl. There are some amazing titles out there. I have added Imagine That!: How Dr. Seuss Wrote the Cat in the Hat to my list. I just have to wait for my library to bring it in.

  9. I love the look of Imagine That! and Seesaw Girl - will have to put those in my Goodreads stack. I loved A Wrinkle in Time when I first read it around 15 years ago now, I believe. Loved the entire series.
